Laloque is declared the winner of the Nescafe Kickstart Season 4 reality program, defeating 3 other finalists - Mahirah (swimming academy), Shirley (deli shop) and Razaisyam (film producer).

With the win, Laloque walks away RM150,000 richer, which he plans to use it to set up and run Malaysia’s first indoor paint ball park.

Season 4 is considered the most competitive among all seasons so far with all the four finalists showing true talents and proving their mettles. Unlike the previous seasons, it was apparently difficult to judge who would finally bag the winning prize until the host, Shirley Samad announced the grand winner.

The 4 finalists were already winners before when all four bagged RM30,000 to start their dream career before the final showdown today. The money was given to 4 out of 6 semi finalists to assess how the contestants can make use of the it most effectively. 2 other semi finalists who were eliminated before are Naza (herbal nursery) and Rachel (mobile eatery).

With the RM30,000, Laloque organized a Nescafe Kickstart Paintball Tournament, Shirley opened up Blossom Deli shop, Mahirah organized H20 Water Carnival and Razaisyam produced a short film, My Indierock Darling.

During the final, all the finalists were given the opportunity to convince, for the last time, the audience, voters and the judges why they should be winner. Judges for the day were Irfan Khairi (internet entrepreneur), Azah Yazmin Yusof (broadcaster) and Chin Weng Keong (entrepreneur). Irfan and Azah are the regular judges throughout season 4, while Weng Keong is known for his sharp questioning as judge during the last couple of seasons.

Nescafe Kickstart is a reality program aimed to discover new talents, and foster aspiring youths to kick start their dream career or job. The winner is decided through votes and judges’ assessment.

Laloque, who was immediately mobbed by his mother and father when announced the winner, could barely hold down his emotion and broke down in tears.
