Shell Refining Company Berhad, which owns and operates Port Dickson Refinery, the main supplier of oil products to various Shell businesses in Malaysia is currently looking for Process Operations Technicians - in line with the company’s commitment to running an efficient yet safe plant operation.

The Technicians are to be based in the refinery plant in PD, Negeri Sembilan. The opportunity is open for Diploma graduates, as well as certificate or even SPM holders with preferably 5 years of working experience. This is a 3-shift work (most likely 8 hours per shift), and hence candidates are expected to be willing to undertake rotational work shift.

As a Process Operations Technician, you will be responsible to monitor the daily operations of the process plant, which include sampling and testing of samples and carrying out the designated non-operational activities under varying operational circumstances and conditions. The incumbent will also be assigned to complete engineering works that cover the spades insertion and withdrawal, cleaning of filters, valve changing, and equipment monitoring.

The job requires the candidates to have a full awareness of Safety, Health, Environment and Product Quality by identifying possible problems at the early stage and take all the necessary precautionary actions.
